Superman - Doomsday

In the storyline, Superman fights Doomsday.

Doomsday is a creature created by an alien civilization thousands of years ago as the ultimate soldier but found out they cannot control it nor destroy it. As a solution, they captured it in some sort of statis field and launched Doomsday into space. Somehow it got to Earth and was buried and forgotten. Present day, Lex Luthor's company was doing some deep drilling and found the "capsule" and accidentally released Doomsday.

Talking about Superman...

In THE BATMAN animation season 5... the first two episodes has Batman going head to head with superman. Nice storyline... alternate to Justice League's formation after the alien invasion. It even showed Bruce Wayne investigating the secret identity of Superman (and eventually confirming it as Clark Kent).

bat-tracker?... Didn't Batman used his resources to plot all the supersonic flight paths of Superman in Metropolis to narrow down Superman's flight origins and finally pinpoint his identity?
