modus operandi would vary...sometimes, the gang would tell you that they have bars of gold yet to be retrieved, giving you few bars for your scrutiny, only that some more bars are in a place, far from where you would be, but believable enough that the transaction would happen within the day.

after the gold bar, they would tell you that they have 20 thousand but then they need a million to pay the owner of the gold bars...one million for 50 gold bars, a great bargain indeed. they will deposit the gold bars with you plus the 20 thousand but they need your million...and promise to be back before sun down. morning comes, there's no one from the budol...another morning...more another mornings...they are just nowhere in sight.
