(Manila Bulletin) Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. and Globe Telecom Inc. said they have extended their unlimited call promotions within their respective fixed-line networks by another month.




Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. and Globe Telecom Inc. said they have extended their unlimited call promotions within their respective fixed-line networks by another month. Globelines would extend this service until May 20 following strong clamor by subscribers, the company said. PLDT said its P10 per call, which was launched in February 14, will be extended to May 11. Calls from PLDT landlines to subscribers of PLDT’s mobile phone units, Smart Communications Inc. and Pilipino Telephone Corp.’s Talk ‘N Text, are also being charged the same rate. Smart and Talk N’ Text have more than 19 million subscribers while fixed-line customers are more than 2 million. Meanwhile, Smart and Piltel also resumed last Friday their unlimited call and text promotion for their pre-paid subscribers. Their subscribers can make calls within the system as long and as often as they want for P115 over a seven-day period.

those PROMOS are only for the fixed line (Globelines & PLDT).

Smart I think revived their unlimited promo (God knows until when).

Sun is offering unlimited as a regular service.
