I got mine last week, kaya if ever may makita kayo sa mga Cafe or malls na mga taong may hawak na phone handset na kasing laki ng mga PLDT phones nyo, wag na kayong magtaka, they are using a wireless landline.

November 3rd, 2005 09:07 PM #11I remember Smart Telecomms coming out with a wireless landline in Baguio City back in 2000 or 2001, mainly to cover areas/addresses which doesn't have an existing line network, or simply not enough subscribers to justify the cost of putting one. Calling rates, as I believe, was between that of a landline and cellphone.
People who'd bring a thing like this in a cafe or mall should have their heads checked ... o baka hindi pa nila inabutan ang analog cellphone nuon (as opposed to GSM which is digital) at feel nila retro.
