The Invisible Bicycle Helmet | Fredrik Gertten on Vimeo

Watch the video, it's kind of expensive for a helmet but it might get cheaper once Chinese starts copying it, lol.

Seriously, parang matagal ko ng nabasa 'yang idea na 'yan from some bike mags.
Way back late 90's pa yata.

The mechanics is quite simple, really works like airbags in our cars.
    See Mr. E. Woods comments.

    Components?
An airbag that when activated, takes the form similar to a Full Face Helmet
(I really love those Troy Lee Designs), Air Tubes, Air Cartridges (source of air),
Mechanicals (as simple as Open/Close Valves), and a small Electronic Device that will send
Electrical signals to activate the Mechanicals.

    What happened?
    Hmmmnnn... lemme see...
Troy Lee Designs Helmets still have the coolest looking full face helmets in the market, Air Tubes
went to the Hydration Packs, Air Cartridges are very handy when fixing flats (a must to bring in races),
the Mechanicals are making waves in the toilet water tank, and the Electronic Devices
were improved. The Electronic Devices are now called Bike Computers, some of which goes
crazy and sends out freaking alarm when your heart starts to beat 3X it's normal rate. :freak:

Siguradong flop ito pagdating sa 'Pinas. Aside from being "pricey", can you imagine what will be the
reactions of those TEs if they flagged you down for not wearing a helmet, and you will tell them
"Sir, may helmet naman ako ah... INVISIBLE nga lang!" :hysterical:

    Ah!

Speaking of Pasay TE's, here's an article.

Pasay traffic officers rule the streets, intimidate private motorists | TopGear.com.ph

If killing was not a crime, I'd shoot these HPD's first.
