Seriously, a barong is a must have in every man's wardrobe. Diba may kasabihan nga na kahit anong lalaki gumagwapo pag naka barong?

had the same problem a few weeks back, was thinking of just renting or borrow from a friend, but since i'm big i had to have one made to my size. 2000 pesos for one extra size barong sa greenhills, 1 week ang pasadya. kung regular size ka mas mura at may ready made na sila.

Bili ka na lang sa 168 or Tutuban in Divisoria. Very cheap prices.

i do have about 6 polo barongs (short sleeves) for work in my wardrobe. pero hindi bagay sakin kasi slim ako kaya bihira kong ginagamit.

If you are low on budget, go to Divisoria. Lots of choices and is relatively cheaper than the ones being sold in malls. Some shops can even alter it slightly if it is not a perfect fit.

If you don't have time to go there, try looking around in the sale section of malls. A discount of 10-25% is not bad at all, bigger discounts are available for big sizes too.

thanks for the suggestions. i ended up buying one at landmark last saturday. the tag price was PHP2700 but i only got it for PHP1,700!!! the salesman was initially giving me the 25% discount that was posted on their rack (around 2k) but i told them that my budget was only 1,500. we ended up meeting halfway. not bad ey....

barong for rent?
