Great Sta. Cruz Island, Zamboanga - Sino na nakapunta?

Okay, if ever na matuloy kami. Actually, nasa planning stage pa lang. I'm also considering other places, Camiguin, Dakak, & Samal Island

i googled the island. and wow, i'm particularly interested with the "pink sand beach"

Ganda nga!.. pero dami rebels dyan.. mahirap na.. camiguin is ok.. rebel free island and safe.. my fathers hometown.. no match for its famous white island beach..

i havent been there but the island is visible along the boulevard of zamboanga, my friend form zambo told me that its really a nice place the sand is pinkish in color but its not so powdery like that of bora, but the sand are soft to feel

A friend advised me, if ever na matuloy kami, not to stay overnight in the island and return to the city before dark. Anyway, it's just 15 minutes away from the mainland.

However, my wife is hesitant to go there because of the Abu Sayaf. So, I'm now considering other places.

There's not much trouble in Zamboanga, all the news is just datelined there.
