I used to go to Struan & Tang's in Ortigas more than a decade ago. It's too bad it closed.

Now, when I want to be alone or need a good cry, I go to the cemetery where my maternal Lola is.

Anytime something happens that causes me emotional distress (problem, sickness, heartbreak etc)

I heard a story about a couple that died while doing it at the basement parking, engine/AC running with car cover.

Tagaytay or Nuvali. I usually park in the grassy area of Nuvali road (going to Can golf) then upo lang sa tabing kalsada while watching the stars in the sky with 1 can of beer.

Wifey and I actually did that bro.,- but in another area....

Subic Bay,- Parked on the side of the road, fronting the bay near midnight... Drinking beer....

Planes passing on top of us, every 3-5 minutes, and landing on the runway for over an hour. In between planes, watching the stars in the sky.....

Surreal experience!

Couple decades ago, back when only Mushroom burger was the only "fastfood" in Tagaytay, I used to go to a spot nearby the entrance of Highlands today.

There used to be a grassy area there where you can park your car, sit in the car's trunk, play some slow jazz music from the cd-player and view the lake & island. Not a lot of people pass-by the area then so its just me and the view.

Nice relaxing way to clear out the accumulated junk in the mind.
