How did you ever got your hands on your ride

mga peeps, ever wondered how did you ever got your ride? Did you really like it or simply got it because you have no choice?

me, i was wondering how did my family ever got its hand on the DMax... aha! actually, it was an accident of some sort. the family was looking in a crosswind xuvi actually, but the dealer said that it won't be available until January 2004. then the agent got us a copy of brochure of DMax. Impressed, we opt to have it instead of the Crosswind.

inherited it from my dad.

it was his company car before, and when he got a new one it was relegated down the order....which is me and my brother :D

I inherited my dad and my brother's hondas:
civic station wagon (na sinira ko transmission)
honda accord coupe (na iniwan ng kuya ko when he joined the army na naibangga ko)
honda accord sedan (ayun, retired na sa shop ng uncle ko)

and ngayon....
my F-150 which I bought straight from my pocket (for the first time).
susunod kong bibilhin is a Dodge Ram na 5.8 liter magnum v8 or a Honda Passport

When my family and I got back from my assignment in the States, we wanted to buy a car... ako, dun pa lang sa states, iniisisp ko na bibili ng 2003 Honda City... then ankita ko yung Toyota Vios... pero when we got here we, based na rin sa inputs ng mga family namin ng honey ko, we opted to get an AUV... Isuzu Crosswind sana gusto ko... kaya lang namahalan kami... didn'tlike the Revo so we got the Mitsubishi Adventure... diesel ang kinuha namin para economical... masaya na sana ako sa GLX lang pero gusto ng honey ko ng GLS... so yun ang kinuha namin (naka discount naman kami and dami freebies). Gusto sana namin Savona Red pero wala nang stock so I chose Carson Blue. No regrets since our ride is serving us well... walang ka-proble-problema. Enjoy din ang almost-1-year old naming anak... naka-car-seat sa gitna sa 2nd row.

sold a piece of my lot, and got a company loan then yun me REVO na, it took us 6 mos. to decide which vehicle. Thanks to fellow tsikoteers in helping me out narrowing my choices.

When I felt I was getting old for my lowered, audio set-upped civic, I bought a sports cute........... I wanted something that is capable for our rough roads, di tumitirik sa baha and can take me where no sedans can go.......so I bought a suzuki vitara!!

Yung mga dati, tulad nung iba sa taas, pinapa-gamit ng ama, o kaya ng kapatid. Nangutang din ako once sa tatay ko to buy one na nagka-leche leche din.

Eto ngayon pera ko na talaga, kaya lang second hand. And na-swertehan ko lang kasi binebenta nung ka-opisina ko, casa maintained na 98 Corolla GLi, na hindi binili nung isa kong ka-opisina kasi biglang kailangan ng pera, eto ako ngayon pinilit kong mag-raise ng pera para makuha kasi sayang, sariwang sariwa pa.

Ang gusto ko lang sana talaga mga 93 na Corolla GLi para hindi nakaka-hinayang mag-mod. Pero since Toyota rin naman at Corolla GLi din, ok na. Yun lang, matatagalan pa ako mag-mod kasi inubos ko na pera sa pagbayad. Hehehe.

ayun na holp-up yung fx na sinasakyan ko (election day yun, wala masyadong tao sa kalye)...kaya naisip ko na kailangan na talaga ng sariling sasakyan...

pero happy ako...gwapo ng oto ko eh, lalo na pag nakasakay yung may-ari. hehe

Never had a car before, not until late 2002. Me and my wife wants a house first kaya late na ako nagkakotse and besides wala naman ako sa pinas madalas kaya nakikiangkas lang ako before hehehe.

I first bought the Honda CRV 2K2, but wrecked it after few months. Masamang damo kaya wala naman ako ni galos :D Then my insurance declared my car total wreck, so I changed it to Trooper and still my ride 'til now.

hand me down. 1st car was an AE92 GL, tapos binenta, binigay sakin yung car ko ngayon. napunta sa kuya ko yung CRV namin. the rest, as they say, is history :D

well some of us here just got out of college, and can't blame them if they didn't have their car loan yet. di gaya ng iba dyan na veteran or born with a silver spoon in their mouth...

no offense intended. of course, for the mean time (sa mga, sinagasaan ng naka-quote) ganun muna kung meron namang magagamit di ba? and anybody here don't want to have his/her very own car, palagay ko naman wala...
