I remember when this came out a few years ago. I think they're really US Army AH-64's Apaches on training in the US judging from the number of radio contacts. I first saw this on the now defunct nowthats****edup.com which used to show military personnel (mostly women) in various states of undress and other nice "activities".

That's why I'm positive it's a military targeting system. Depending on the time of the day (or night), the target may be hotter or colder than the background. The targeting sytem can switch either way to ensure the best contrast between target and background. The whole system operates on the premise of heat absorbed or given off by both target and background.

Of course, I've always thought Cop In The Sky infrared systems also had the same capability.

I had to determine if that was during the day or during a moonlit night. It looks like it was during a moonlit night based on the contrast of the back half of the car with the grass. The car would stick out more during the day.
