    My comment:
I guess it proves that Pinas is a market for the "tingi" crowd. Wala kasi tayong pambili ng grocery "by the bulk", although kung iko-compute mo talagang makakamura ka pag bulk items. Kaso ala talagang pepay eh.

Sayang yung PriceSmart na bagong tayo jan sa Alabang Town Center. Tsk! Tsk! Saka isa pa, intense din ang competition from another "by-the-bulk" groceries, like Makro at PureGold.

    awwwww.

i like pricesmart pa naman, mura bilihin dun. yun lang, i agree din na weak point niya eh by the bulk, most pinoys don't buy by the bulk.

i could only surmise, based on the people who go to makro and pricesmart...

makro is generally for pang-masa. pricesmart is for C and above.

...most of the dry goods sa pricesmart are imported (US made), kaya medyo bigatin din ang presyo, not really ideal to do your regular grocery (unless expat ka). though yung "tingi" nila na dogfood mura. nagmember ako dun for their pepperoni pizza.
