When i looking at the news about the Lebanon evacuees, i was struck by the reports that the workers who jumped from buildings to escape from their employers as well as others who are hospitalized are being subsidized by OWA but they are not members of OWA and have not paid their contributions. OWA will even fly their relatives to see them in the hospital for those who jumped. The others who are hospitalized are even complaining that they have not received a subsidy from OWA when their hospital bills were paid by OWA even if they are not members.

I'm not looking at the humanitarian aspect. I think it should be the government who shoulders the expenses not OWA because it should only be availed by the workers whose are the ones who contributed to that fund.
