    now, let's talk about the funny mini stories... those little funny stories of your (or your friend's) experiences with the mini. i'm sure everyone has a story or two to tell. yung mga tipong "whew!... buti na lang naka-mini ako" or "ye'ey! buti na lang naka-mini ako...". yung mga nakakatuwa lang ha... wag na yung "you've just been mini'd" stories... para maka-inspire sa wala pang mini at hindi maka-offend sa mga hindi mini ang 'baby'...

    umpisahan ko na...

    sunday... mega mall parking building A... makakapark ka pa ba pag 1pm ka na dumating? of course! Itapat mo lang sa poste...

    sige kayo naman muna...

    Why I love my mini:

    1. People give you a nice smile when they see you in a mini.
    2. Kids and even grown ups calls you Mr. Bean.
    3. When you;re filling up in gas station someone will always come over and ask stuff about your mini.

    You're so true about people asking you mini stuff at filling stations, Vince. There's this incident with a friend. He was filling up his green mini some filling station near coastal road when a brand new Range Rover came by for gas. While waiting to be filled a very dignified looking gentlemnan got off, approached my friend and exclaimed "Alam mo pare, gustung-gusto kong magka ganyan" (referring to the humble but adorable green mini). Startled, flattered and speechless, my friend just quickly responded with a smile, but with big, bold letters on his head which read..."E DI KUNG GUSTO MO, PALIT NA LANG TAYO."

    Once, I rolled in to fill up at Shell Acropolis, near Tandang Sora in Commonwealth. Being filled up on the opposite pump was a Maroon Mitsubishi Minica. The owner, a tall, skinny, mestizo was looking at me, with that same grin, and asked "Original pa makina?". Yes", I responded smiling, and added "pero mas modelo na." (I had just switched to an A+ then). And then he said "Itong akin, pinalitan ko na rin. Naka-3K na 'to e." When he drove off, I asked myself... "Naka-3K? Where does he ever put his legs when he drives?". The guy?... the late Rodolfo Boy Garcia, the actor.

    di ko sure kung member ng group ninyo ito nakasabay ko sa Espana gray ang color ng MINI ..tapos may isa bystander gusto kunan ng pics ang ride kaya lang may BOLD letters naka sulat sa gilid ng salamin na (NO PICTURE TAKING PLEASE!!!) sabay harurot ng driver ng makita na plan kunan ng pix kasi nag GO signal na

    sad to say bigla nag GO signal.kaya di nakunan ,
    mejo malaki ang driver pero kasya pa din wala tint ang mga glass niya
    kaya nakita ko di ko lang matandaan ang face ,ayaw ko tinggnan ng deretcho baka magalit sa akin at sabhin na
    "bakit ngayon ka lang nakakita malaki na tao na naka MINI"..hehehe

    At ok lang kung yun ang itanong nya; wag lang "Bakit, ngayon ka lang ba nakakita ng poging mini na may mukhang tao?" (joke din!)

    Guys ako naman.....kasya ba 7 tao sa mini nyo? Sa akin kasya...mini countryman (wagon).....nagbabaan ang pamilya ko..tinginan ang mga tao...ngeee dami! eh ang liit naman! That was early 80's... I removed the backseat put foam and carpet allover the backside!

    Quick U-turn

    Along Visayas Ave. towards Quezon Memorial Circle, after Shell, there is this cut on the center strip that was obviously left half open, perhaps, by the local tricycle drivers for their exclusive easy access. I get to make a quick U-turn there everytime, while other cars have to do it at the next busy intersection.

    I love this car!
