what can you say about this van? ok ba ang performance? been looking for a family van for quite sometime now. pero hindi naman nagmamadali. just want to buy an almost perfect family van. out of the question na ang mga 'shoebox' type na vans like hi-ace & L300. korean van are also not in the choices. how much kaya itong vito-l?

Diba si Doc Diesel ganyan ang van?

Ok naman siya pero bear in mind na this vehicle is originally intended for commercial use. Yung V-Klasse ang passenger van version niyan. So expect na medyo stiff ang ride and hindi ganoon ka-classy ang interior.

The first batches didn't even have power windows and alloy wheels. Ewan ko lang now. Pero yung interior halos lahat gawa sa gray hard plastic. hehehe.

Meron na yatang locally upgraded edition with rotating captain's chairs and other upgrades (ito yung may body stripes).

Yung customer satisfaction rating niyan sa UK at par lang with Korean vehicles. Manufactured in Spain ang Vito.Diba si Doc Diesel ganyan ang van?

I'm still in the dark on it's overall performance and reliability but the model that they sell here is kinda bare. At it's price i'd go for a Patrol or Trooper... i think it's resale value isnt also that high (in MB standards).

Right now, pag dating sa minivans i like the Nissan Serena (got to test one over the weekend).

    boybi,
The vito l is really nice in the sense that:

    1. It's an MB!
    2. It's got common rail technology for its fuel injection system. It's drives and feels like your driving a petrol car / van.
    3. It has the usual ammenities like a/c, power steering, windows and central locking. Walang alarm yung sa amin at ayaw lagyan ni erpat for some bad experience he had with another MB van equiped with the BOSCH sensotronic alarm.
    4. Ganda ng stereo, I just don't know if it's the same on all models.
    5. Roomy sya pero if your going to load big people, might have a problem. Medyo mababa kasi ceiling e.
    6. Sarap patakbuhin ng long distance.
    7. etc. etc. . . . .

and the price? A cool base price of 1.3 to 1.4M depending on the model.

    Otep,
sa tatay ko yun. mitsu. adventure sa akin.

medyo makitid kasi ang nissan serena. hindi na comfortable pag 3 adults ang nakaupo sa mga bench seats. and mahirap din pumasok sa 3rd row.

    Doc Diesel,
yung vito-l nyo pwde ba i-rotate mga seats? pwde or maluwag ba yung lalagyan ng luggage sa likod? kelangan ko kasi me lalagyan ng mga gamit ng bata like stollers, etc. and all seats will be occupied. kaya hindi pwde mga japanese suv's. yung patrol namin, mamimili ka kung passenger o bagahe.

1.3M to 1.4M? If it were that price my folks would get that over the Hiace that they're eyeing. The last time i checked it was already hitting 1.6 i think. On resale, i saw some goinmg for 1.2-1.3 although they are hard to come by in the used car market.

    boybi,
yung sa amin di pa rotating captian seats as I know that ours was the first batch of Vito's that arrived through commercial motors. yung price that I stated was the first offering, I didn't know they jacked it up already. but come to think of it, since my dad loaned it, it would well come off at the 1.6 to 1.7M mark.

what I know can be rotated is the black market version. same lang ata sila ng luggage space sa likod e, medyo may kaliitan.

yung ford chateau ang malaki talaga for a van.

nabasa ko sa website ng mb, 22,500kms ang service interval for petrol engines & every other year for diesel engines. pero medyo mahal nga sa 1.6M for a bare van.

20,000 km PMS interval??? whoa... for severe duty ba yan (which is what we have here)? baka naman para sa europe yang schedule na yan...?

kasi sa US kahit cars like corolla and camry yung service interval nila 10,000 or 15,000 miles e (16,000 or 24,000 km), but these cars call for 5K km intervals here...

    boybi,

Yung revolving second row seats ay optional sa casa. Siyempre dahil optional, dagdag bayad. Hehehe.

Standar seating configuration niya yata is 2+4+4. Doc D, correct me if I'm wrong po. Basta yung last row siguradong 4 seater sa standard model.
