AMG mags
grill updated
headlights updated
remote control updated
side mirror updated
and more to come this month

mine is 2001 facelifted model in red exterior and black interior, with AMG 18" mags and CLK style front grille.

Mods to come: (hopefully soon)
- will put VI performance monitor
- clear projector lamps with angel eyes and smoked LED Tail lamps
- Flat bottom steering wheel
- slotted and drilled front rotors
- K&N drop in filter


BTW, R666 what do you mean by remote control and side mirror updated?

R170 is the body code of that particular MB roadster. SLK230 is the variant name.

hey guys,i just actually registered to post here and some ask some questions.i really like to know your side on this and im a bit off topic,yes. see im a big fan of the R170's and im planning to buy one this year.i just want to know more how to take care of this lady before i bring it home.

so where do you take it for service/maintenance?where do you buy parts for it?is it good for everyday driving?how's the gas consumption,is it too strong of a guzzler?

i'm gonna decide after i hear from you guys.thanks.

hey guys, i own a '98 SLK and im looking for the new sidemirrors (w/ signal light), better tail lights(LED or smoke), and the grill that looks like the R171. do you guys know where i can buy these parts?
