hello. i would advise against directly importing the car yourself as, i think, the 100% importation tax is still in use. might as well have the official distributor do all the hassle of importing, complying with the paper work and having to deal with the CORRUPT customs officials. if you have observed, our local prices here are twice that of benzes in the states or EU. thats why. anyway, if you find brand new prices too steep, CATS Motors (official merc distributor for Phl) has a pre-owned section that sells slightly/overly used units that they have restored/pre-checked. i already sold our previous merc to pre-owned. you can go check their website.
