Among my dad's stuff is a special edition of MacArthur's Reminiscences (1st Ed, 1964) with gold-colored page leaf. I've seen other 1st Editions (minus gold leaf) sell for $1000. Not that I want to sell it. I liked reading MacArthur's memoirs. But, if it was valuable enough, I'll have it insured.

i had mine replaced, but at the manila end. the las pinas end was closed at that time, kasi....
