TV Series: House MD vs Grey's Anatomy

Anybody here watch these medical series?

House is awesome! An extremely intelligent, witty and funny character, he can be an *$$hole but he gets the job done. He takes risks when others wont to save lives. Although he can be a Jerk, you know you can count on him when things go really bad.

Greys Anatomy is like Ally Mcbeal in a hospital setting. Probably girls would like it better because of all the romance angles.

I'd choose house cause it's more intellectually challenging.

I like House more, in fact, I rarely watch Grey's. Whenever I watch Grey's, I feel like watching Ally McBeal redux. That girl has more issues than the Rolling Stones.

House primary focus are with medical mysteries. Relationships between its primary characters are only secondary. While Grey's is the opposite, its primary plot revolves around the relationships of the central characters, the fact that they are doctors are only secondary. Change their professions to, say pilots, and the plot would still be the same. However in House, change their professions to, say cops, and it won't be the same. So there.

I watch House MD. I did watch a few episodes of Grey's Anatomy and it did feel like watching Aly McBeal. Almost feels like them being doctors is just a coincidence.

I see House MD as followup on "Doogie Howser" given the boy medical genius is now all grown up and having lost that postive attitude about life.

I watch both. House is better entertainment for me.

But 'Scrubs' is still more realistic than those two shows.

i looooveeee house. same level sila ng LOST sa listahan ko.

grey's is nice because of heigl and hat hot red head ob gyne.

scrubs is funny.....but crap.heheh

ako din, I watch two episodes a night if I can. I already downloaded the entire season 1 & 2 from *******. I also downloaded the current season3 but haven't watched them (until I finish season 2).

I think they're both good. However, House is more consistent in terms of characterization, creativity, tight writing of each and every episode. Grey's first season came out strong, but its longer second season would falter in places and had a somewhat weak season finale.

House is more subtle in its exposition of human nature. On the other hand, Grey's can sometimes be a bit too obvious in its efforts to manipulate viewer's emotions. Grey's Anatomy tends to spoonfeed, House allows you to partake at your own pace and capacity.

It could also be a mood thing, if you're a girl.

For guys, hands down--House MD.

But definitely, Hugh Laurie and Sandra Oh deserved their Emmys

i watch both....but depends on my mood...whenever i have a hard day in the ward or during my shifts....it's definitely Greys for me...it's the entertainment and relief from stress that i get...but when i want to stimulate more or my cranial nerves...(if ever i have)...then i watch House....on second thought,,,it's Greys for me.....kasi nakaka-relate ako eh.....as if kinopya ni Omali ang character ko...hahahahahaha....
