+1 ako kay sting. i was in davao when he did his gig here in the mid-90's kaya the next time around he visits our friendly shores, i'll make sure that i'll be there. galing daw talaga concert niya sa ultra dati. a lot of my college buddies watched his concert and they say astig daw talaga si sting
U2 is an awesome show whenever you can catch it. so is Metallica, although you may not like it if you're not a fan of their genre.
if you see Shakira in person, you will not be able to take your eyes off her the entire show :naughty2: although i really really hate her music so i felt very conflicted
Anita Baker is also excellent - she really connects with her audience. BB King makes you overwhelmed at being in the presence of a living legend, but his health is too poor to allow him to tour anymore
maybe it's just me, but i think any hip hop artist is terrible to watch in person. the type of music is best appreciated IMO in a controlled environment of a studio. to replicate it with a bunch of turntables, synthesizers and the artists make it sound like a lot of noise and a lot of huffing and puffing (not to mention the gang signs and the crotch grabbing )
Sting, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam for the 2nd time around, Velvet Revolver, sana yung reunion concert ng Led Zep ay sa Manila gawin and the Spice Girls.
