    What movies do you suggest na worth watching. DVD marathon kasi pag nasa bahay lg. ;)

    Holy Sh*t!!!! Saan mo nahanap yun!?! I've been looking for that... better story than "Matrix", if not quite as cinematic... a must see for sci-fi buffs.

    My picks

    Series:
    1. 24... but only if you plan on not sleeping for two days...
    2. Band of Brothers... rollercoaster ride, action and drama... wow.
    3. *** and the City... yes, I do like it.

    War Movies
    1. Enemy at the Gates
    2. Saving Private Ryan
    3. Glory (medyo sad nga lang)

    Sci Fi (so many favorites, but these are new ones)
    1. Steam Boy (anime... good story, action, just a bit long)
    2. Dark City (good story)
    3. A.I. (but looooooooooong)

    Action
    1. Bad Boys... the first and best, definitely
    2. Kung Fu Hustle... comedy, but terrific martial arts!
    3. EDIT: How could I forget FIGHT CLUB... it's a must see!

    Tama ka. The story of The Matrix is not exactly original. Halos pareho lang sila ng plot at screenplay nung DARK CITY. Kahit yung mga scenes sa DARK CITY eh kinopya sa Matrix, tulad nung labanan sa mid-air ni Neo at nung Agent. Not very original. Si Neo lumilipad. Si John Murdoch lumilipad din. Wala lang martial arts sa DARK CITY, pure sci-fi lang talaga - I think one of the best sci-fi movies made. And lastly, napaka-virginal ni JENNIFER CONNELLY sa DARK CITY.

    Nabili ko yung Dark City DVD sa Makati. P80 lang.

    ...if you like those types of movies, i would also recommend airplane, space balls, blazing saddles, and of course the austin powers and naked gun series.

    other comedy movies i really enjoyed were anchorman, old school (hell, anything with will ferrell in it), team america: world police, and hitch

    Masyadong OA na yung airplane para sakin. Pati yung Naked Gun, maganda lang sa umpisa, yung mga sumunod na sa series nakaka-bored na dahil nape-predict mo na yung mga susunod na gags. Yung mga ganitong klaseng movies palagay ko maganda lang kung one-time lang. Parang joke ba, it's only funny the first time. Kaya bawal ulitin ang mga jokes eh, hehe.

    Yung ELF akala ko maganda, kasi natawa ako dun sa mga trailers na pinakita, ang boring pala nung movie. SObrang pambata. Anyone who wants to buy my ELF DVD, P50 na lang.

    Mag-labas kaya yung mga pirata ng "Revenge of the Nerds" ??? Remember this movie?

    Yung "Abandoned (2010)" starring Brittany Murphy (yung namatay last year 2009 dahil pneumonia), Mimi Rogers, and so on. Direct-to-DVD na lang 'ata siya ngayon.
