Since i bought my car last February, the only instance i tuned to a local radio station was when i tested the Head Unit before driving home from casa.

I usually just pair my phone and listen to my own playlists. The past week was different though as I've been busy enough from office work to even forget to charge my phone.

So to remedy my need for background music to keep me awake, i tried to hop around our local stations but was disappointed to learn that NU 107.5 is no longer what it used to be. I got more disappointed when after tuning in to all the available stations, none kept playing music more than the DJ's were discussing useless topics.

sorry if this post seems more like a rant, but i would like to know if any of you guys can suggest a radio program you usually tune in to.

ps. yes i don't have a car charger yet - too busy to shop around and find one that wouldn't damage both my phone's battery and car's electricals

Wow tagal na walang NU hehe

Before I'm a big fan of Goodtimes with Mo pag morning and Boys night out pag gabi.

Pero nanawa na din ako, GTWM is not the same as before since panay palit ng tao.

BNO naman paulit ulit na lang topic walang bago.

Lately pag mag FM ako i tune in sa 99.5 play fm.

Mostly used radio 105.1 or 107.5. Pag weak signal only then i turn into my cd or thumb drive or stored music sa cp.

Pag nagsawa sa laman ng phone, tab or usb i tune in to 96.3 except when that stoopid girl with the canned laugh is on, then i'd rather just turn everything off and listen to the engine. Dati 103.5 or 105.1 kaso iba na mga dj puro squater.

Havent used the radio in a decade unless im in another persons car and have no choice. I use USB for stored music or pair my bluetooth phone and use spotify. I dont even make my own playlists anymore. I just use curated playlists that match my mood. Spotify is the bomb!

Ako rin ayaw ko na ng radio. Bluetooth or aux na lang. Lipat lang ako ng lipat pag radio e. Pero pag bumper to bumper traffic very useful ang skytv

I prefer powerbank than car charger. Yung malaki ah. Mga 16,000-20,000 iwan ko lang for a week sa sasakyan. Good for 1 week na yun. So weekly magcharge

nung isang beses naabutan ko yung sa 'wave' di ko maalala kung ano yung station number basta si kc montero yung dj tapos may kasama siyang babaeng dj. kaso di ko trip yung discussions nila. i'll try yung 105.1, napakinggan ko ngayon sa phone mukhang maayos (pero late night na, same set parin ba to kapag umaga or after office hours?)

I can't remember the last time I used my car's radio. More or less 10 year na siguro.

99.5 for less talk. However, nakakasawa din kc puro bago kanta paulit ulit. Pero pag dating ng thurs un 99.5 all day nag play ng 90's to early 2000's. Ok din 96.30 less talk din and more on old songs. Kakasawa kc un mga bago paulit.

I prefer FM radio over my iPod most of the time, because hearing just songs over and over is pretty boring, especially since I drive hundreds of kilometers everyday alone. I prefer hearing conversation.

In the morning - RX 93.1, Morning Rush with Chico, Delamar, and Gino

Lunch time - Magic 89.9 with Joyce Pring

Afternoon - either RX, Magic, or Play FM 99.5

Evening - Boys Night Out * Magic

I listen to my iPod when I'm in places with no FM, or when it's a road trip with friends.

88.3 pag alternative music. Pero most of the time daldalan hanap ko.

I have thousands of songs and a few hundred podcasts on my iPod Classic 120GB. Also have 500GB of TV shows on a USB HDD. (Both are semi-permanently connected to the HU). If I want something current, I stream Spotify or Pandora from my Android phone via BT.

I hate our local FM stations. Just trash and noise, except for 98.7, which is actually soothing on certain stressful days.

98.7 is good but the reception is weak.

Been listening to The Morning Rush on RX since I was in grade school; now it's part of my driving-to-work habit. Driving home though, I prefer music over talk so I usually station-surf until a good song comes up. If nothing good is on then it's the iPod or USB.

I enjoy the music-on-demand of my gadgets but the radio is still my main source of new artists and new songs.
