Car and Driver Magazine Subscription [Renamed]

hi guys!

i'm sure some of you don't know this yet, so i'm sharing this with all of you.

you can subscribe directly to car&driver OR motor trend for about $20 a year. that already includes shipping. i discovered this while surfing the net. i've been a subscriber for 2 years now. downside is, the first issue takes awhile to reach you (about 2 months), but after that the monthly issues arrive about a week in advance (e.g., september issue arrive last week of august).

i charge it to my card, and it comes out about P1200 for a 12 issues. imagine that, P100 per issue! some local distributors sell for as much as P450 each mag!

yep. i'm on my 2nd year of subscription. so far, i never missed an issue.

i wrote their helpdesk an email to make sure that they deliver to the philippines. you can try that too if you want.

It's even cheaper if you live in the States, the price for them is only $12 per year! or $1 per issue. The additional $8 for us is for shipping.

it's ok. motor trend leans towards the race car types, although they also feature other types of cars.

car & driver is the all in one magazine -- it feature the latest sports cars, luxo cars, vans, SUVs, 4x4, etc. they always have comparisons and they're usually brutally honest.

one thing i notice is the editors can't help but be pro-american. they bash the bad american cars, but if a good one comes out, they go all out promoting the car. (e.g. corvette, the new mustang, ford gt, etc.)

i can think of other more interesting car mags, especially those coming from the UK, but they're very very expensive.

Car & Driver is the best all around magazine for me. They have tested everything from a Navy sub to a Freight Locomotive.

Pati motorized bed tinest na nila dati.
