    Sana gawin nilang movie rin yung Voltes V ala Transformer...tutal maganda naman yung plot nun.

    That's a good idea. Been toying with it since I was a kid. But the problem is, Voltes V isn't as popular in the US or in Japan itself. Aside from the Philippines, Italy is the next fan base and Hongkong.

    I can't remember what forum I read it, but Mazinger Z (Tranzor Z in the US), is more popular in the US, Europe and Japan. No wonder Japan has an ongoing cartoon series of it up to now. Toy wise, Mazinger Z was one of the first to be made in the 90s.

    Voltes V toy came in picture only last year. And I have one... my preciousss...

    I wish I'm wrong. Let's do an online petition!

    Who said its not popular in Japan? if you go to their toy store you won't find any, why? because they are being collected by toy collectors, sometimes being sold as much as Y90,000 (about $900)

    I had my 1st Voltes V toy around 1979-1980. It had the 5 components (the cruiser, the bomber, the panzer, the frigate and the lander) which together forms a 1.5-foot Voltes V robot. A cool toy during its time

    OT..merun din nun yun classmate ko...very expensive toy in our time (we were grade 5 then)... but his dad works withe bureau of customs... so it was an easy access/buy.

    Hmm...nice idea pero this might not see the light of day kung US producers ang aaasahan. AFAIK, hinde nag-click sa US ang market 70s'/80's super robot series, except I think for Gredeizer. Hower, the super robot series eh click na click nun sa Europe particularly sa Italy at dun din ata sa ilang countries sa South America.

    Pero nice idea ha.
