    1995 Suzuki Samurai-SJ413

    Mods:
    2 inch body lift
    1 inch suspension lift
repositioned shock mounts for longer shocks
    2 inch. exhaust pipe
    freeflow muffler
31 inch Pirelli Scorpions mud tires
swap t-case for a SJ410 for lower gearing
    fire extinguisher
    no second row seat
    Bosch Platinum plugs
    Gas tank armor

It has taken me to and back (well most of the time) from the trails of Tanay, Boso-Boso and Maarat. It is also my daily ride during my coding day.

    Inggit! Nice mods... practical!

What car is the new tranny from? An older Samurai? Doesn't it affect your top speed or economy?

It's from a 1000cc jimny/samurai. With bigger tires than stock 27" to 31" I've lost my "omph" so I need to shift one gear down. The change to a 410 t-case (lower gearing) makes me now shift normally.

I can imagine, then, that your speedometer is mostly "suggestive" now instead of indicative...

You're right. My speedo reads 60 kph but I'm really going 80 kph and overtaking cars at SLEx. It suggest that I'm moving na. :D
