The recall affects cars built between September 25, 2018, and May 3, 2019 from Nippon & Mexican plants. Wheel studs were insufficiently torqued retaining gaps between stud heads & hub assembly.

This shouldn't affect the incoming Ph units....but yes... good to ask dealerships.[emoji106]

Hehe...It's not the nuts that need over-torq'n. The studs....They need to fully seat the stud spline & head to the hub.

when you overtighten the lug nuts with the shop impact.. it will eventually seat that wheel stud in lol. when i had my new tires on, umabot ata 150nm yun nilagay ng seraniko. i did 80nm (star pattern)then 100nm

Doing that will risk damage to the nut's & wheel's cone seating. A spacer & some sacrificial lug nut are what I'd use on DIY stud replacements.
