    a very minor issue, but it annoys the heck out of me!!!

    (and it was problematic at the airport where they want to see the inside of your glovebox)

    i thought busted bulb, but it started working again for a while. besides replacing the bulb is an involved task. now i think it's the switch on the glovebox lid getting stuck.

    any ideas?

    Isn't it activated by a sensor that detects whether there's sufficient light or not? other car's glove box lights are like these

    It's probably the switch or the bulb socket contacts.
