Ligaya drive is asphalt by the way, AFAIK. Kaso hindi ito (Ligaya drive) sir ang balak ko from tanuan-talisay highway kundi yung isa pa na daan. yung lulusot na ng tagaytay rotonda.

^^^ that is the best possible way Sir. stress free driving. kung magtatagaytay ka daming stress dun.

although lahat ng daan dun pababa ng tagaytay are asphaslt (AFAIK).

kagagaling ko lang din kasi ng tanauan i think last friday. ang tulog mo lang sa tanuan is yung ginagawang kalsada kung rush/peak hour ka dadaan papunta sa tanauan talisay hiway kasi nga may ginagawang road widening diyan pagkaexit mo ng star toll pero generally maganda kalsada diyan sir.

nakow sir. sa may lourdes church ang punta namin. ayon sa mapa e dadaan ng rotonda. tapos hanap pa kami ng budget accomodation dun.

Hi. ask ko lang if well-paved at hindi matarik yung Tagaytay-Talisay Road heading to lakeshore?

If you really must go, go via Ligaya Drive instead. It's well paved and less windy than Tagaytay-Talisay Road.

Can't seem to edit my post. I meant less *winding, as in less twist and turns.

Ligaya Drive is a tight fit in some spots (barely 2 lanes).

still better than the other route. a third but quite longer way would be via star tollway and tanauan (if coming from manila).

It's well paved and quite wide than normal provincial road but, in my view one of the twistiest and stiff incline/decline road here in Pinas. Good thing few cars traverse that road compared to other way to Tagaytay.
