to paint or not to paint the stock mags..

maya balak sana ako ipaint na stock mags for the car.. dko alam kung baduy or sumhtn.. ehh. opinions pls :roll:

personally, di ko tlga trip magpaint ng OEM mags... buy nalang aftermarket ones, kahit 2nd hand ok na, basta marunong ka tumingin

Repaint the stock mags(pag hindi chrome-like gaya ng sa civic) to its original color is OK just to reclaim its "old glory".

But to repaint it with flat black, etc. ricey at baduy para sa akin.

pag aftermarket rims ok lang pa paint ng ibang kulay.

Pero pag stock rims mas ok kung pa repaint mo na lang ng same na kulay.

oo pre in my opinion medyo ricey nga yung dating pag stock mags being repainted to white or black. restoring mags is ok though. but its all a matter of taste and preference, malay mo maganda nga kinalabasan ng mags mo after a paint job. keep us posted and post pictures if u can. goodluck.

Yes, for stock mags a hilamos would be a cheap cheap alternative to it look clean and new.

Get those metal spray paints (make sure the colors match), wash and clean wheels of dirt/mud/dust, do a little sanding, cover your tires with any stiff paper (brochures, leaflets), put an even coating, and your good to go. I did it myself many times = Cost less than P150 + mga 15 mins per wheel.

Kung may malalim na gasgas, or if you dont have the time- go to banawe to those tint boys, lalagyan nila ng masilya, they'll do all your your wheels while you wait for about P250 to 300

makuha kaya sa masilya yung biyak na centercaps ng mags? me punit kasi yung center caps.
