Hi Tsikot family! A newbie in terms of automotives. I'd like to ask for your suggestion/s... I'm planning to change my stock mags with 15" or 16" still have the option to take 17" but I prefer the 16". By the way, My car is Vios 2006 model. Here are my queries:
    1. if I'll take the 16", is the ride comfort still there? what size of tires do you suggest?
    2. if I'll take the 17", di ba matagtag masyado? I'm just worried because our place has humps & there are portion also of crack roads that I'll be passing by...
    3. My tire supplier is offering me the "NANKANG" brand preferably the NSII. Though I'm not familiar with this brand but research in the net tells that it is Taiwan made with ISO certification. Do you personally recommend this brand?

    Budget really matters.

    Need your advises / Help.

    God Bless! Thank you!

get the 16. 17's could really give you a rough ride. sinabi mo na din na madaming humps yung lugar nyo. comfort will still be there, although less than the 15s.

nankang is ok. but there are better brands there... try nexxen, gajah tunggal or achilles.

get the 16"s for your ride. if you want to maintain comfort, try 50 series (minimum) tires and up...under 50 series tires will be stiff and uncomfortable but your car will sure look pogi.

imho, best choice is 195/55r16 or 205/50r16. di na maganda ang wider tires sa vios because its still a small car with big dreams. try nankang, gt, federals or westlake(pwede na if strict budget talaga). just google it or search for similar threads for tires review. maybe you can convince yourself to invest more for your tires and get those people's trusted brands.

Thanks for your reply... Your comments will surely help me in my decision on which mag/tires I will purchase. I'll get the 16". I'm still canvassing for the tires... Thanks a lot.
