i don't know ha? pero i have read in kotse.com before na using tireblack is not good for your tires dahil it makes the sidewalls brittle.

i think the best way to put it is just to wash your tires with soap and water and just to keep it clean always. ganito na lang kasi ginagawa ko ngayon eh. stopped using tire blacks.

may nabasa ako dati tire black lalo na kung hahaluan ng kerosene e nakakapagpataas ng temp. ng goma which may cause the tire to explode when cruising in moderate to high speed.

Cheapo tire blacks are nothing more than a mixture of glycerin and silicones... these two chemical combined will produce a high gloss but will not cling to any surface so it'll just sling off, the residue is harmful on most paint surfaces if left on too long... such chemicals also void tire warranties as it has been proven time and again that it causes the rubber to brown and makes the tire compound brittle.

depending on the manufacturer, of course.... Most new products are reformulated to be free from harmful silicones... best bet is to email the manufacturer and ask for the MSDS formulation list.

i use Formula 2001 Tire Gel ng Turtle Wax...based on my experience it doesn't splatter on the car's body just as long as I wipe the excess with a clean cloth...

not sure though if its safe...it says it has TRILICONE

473ml bottle = Php 259.75 sa Puregold Shaw

sir theveed, any comment on this product?

I use endurance by meguiar's and it keeps my tire black kahit I don't put for like weeks. The good thing about it is when you clean your car. The black color just keeps on coming back.

Their slogan nga is last fow weeeks not days...

Ganito rin gamit ko, kahit medyo mahal 500+ e tumatagal dahil in small amounts lang naman gamit nito also hindi nagiging brownish ang tires pag ganito gamit na tire protector

based on personal experience (around 1.5-2yrs use of this product), it's good stuff... doesn't sling or stain mudguards, no discoloration on my tires so far... use it in our shop as well.

tama kayong lahat, tire blacks and other tire dressings do really make the sidewalls brittle. If you visit dunloptire.com they explain na their tires and i think it also goes with other tires na they have ozone protection in their tires and putting tire dressings can deplete the effectivity of the protection sayang naman, and tire looks good naman when super clean.. beter then tire blacks

a good tire black
