Or Restore4. The one you can buy on HomeTV Shopping (although I haven't seen their ad for the longest time).
i have this some kind of bleach used sa bathroom for cleaning tiles and faucets. tried sa chrome parts ng sasakyan saka sa glass. grabe, sobrang tapang at tanggal yun stains.
Try mo Autosol metal polish, meron yata to sa mga DIY hardware stores, nakalagay yun sa parang toothpaste tube tapos yung kahon niya gold and black ang kulay, mga P150 yata. Used it on the chrome trimmings on my car and was very satisfied with it.
thanks gents
there's no other way. kahit i-rub mo ng todo yan may uka pa din galing sa gasgas.
have you tried using a wheel cleaner? bought one from blade and its only 99bucks. or mothers' mag and aluminum polish.
^^^^ Finally one correct answer for the stain question...
Mothers, Eagle One, Meg's and other companies have dedicated stainless steel cleaners... Use those...
Compounds are for paint.
Sandpaper are for paint and severe restoration as well, good luck getting the fine scratches afterwards.
Glo and other metal polishes only work on oxidation, any other form of stains cannot be removed the the polish. Hence the term polish not cleaner.
As for the deep scratches, that'd be tough... Paint will rarely match stainless steel surfaces except if you weld another piece on top of it or something like that.

Exactly, 99% of the time, DIY without the proper knowledge (including well-intentioned internet advice, but incorrect and proven wrong advices), results to permanent damage...
The most common in the phil is compound and sandpaper advices that damages surfaces to an irreversible damage.
same tayo bro, sa akin pina pa repair ko, lahat kase apat ng mags ko may gasgas, at deep scratches, may term sila buffing lang daw kailangan nyan, i just waited for an hour kuminis ulit, gun metal, parang nagpa polish kalang. yung nga lang 3k yung ginastos ko which is usually the amount for the repair.
YES AUTOSOL... it really works very well. I use it not only on my rims but anything that needs to be shine... P294 bili ko. but no regret really...
