Do you include the spare tire when rotating tires?

Big Con -- it's a waste of spare. I mean, the spare tire is also brand new, and by not using it in rotation, you're just letting it "rot".

ako nung napako ako ni swap ko yung tire nang spare.. so yung spare ko ngayon yung na vulcanized..

Shorter life span. Mileage accumulates faster on the tires being used.

sayang naman tire kung hindi gagamitin.
but some used car buyers do like to see an un-used spare tire...

If the tire is of same size with that of the others, it must be included in the rotation as well.

Some car manufacturers though equipt spare ones that are not - simply to be used as spares just to bring a flattened tire for patching or repair to nearest available tire shop.

Any tire used or not must be replaced possibly within 5 years due to the high rubber content - unless it's for the older public utility vehicle types where nylon component is higher with road grip sacrifice ��

Hmm.. di ko matandaan kung yung same yung rim nung spare ko.. Bumili kasi ako ng cover at lock para dun spare tire ng fortuner so di ko na sya normally nakikita.

i recently used mine, because 1 rear tire had a sidewall damage, so i just bought 1 new and pair it with the unused spare. then just mount the other used rear tire on the spare rim.

My previous car(altis circa 2006) has alloy rim for the spare.. My fortuner(2013) is the manual variant, I don't know if I have steel rims or alloy..

Depende kung mags din ang spare. Kung mags, kasama, if not, no.

Pag napako, yung navulcanized na ang spare. Pinapalipat ko kung steel rims ang spare.

Sayang spare tire, at least for me, spare tire is fitted with mags also.

If not, lipat lang.
