    gandang araw mga papa.

i'm planning to upsize my stock 14" mags/tires to 16" sana with either Rota TORQUE or GRID design. just want to ask your valuable opinion sana what would be the ideal tire spec na walang rubbing issues sa ride kong '99 CIVIC VTi.

currently it's 185/65/14, ok lang ba kung i-205/55/16 ko sya? any other spec inputs? i'm leaning towards 55-series sana than 50-series due to a more comfortable ride than the latter.

actually, if ever first time ko kasi mag palit ng mas mababang profile from my stock-spec tire use, that's why i'm getting feedbacks sana sa mga drivers na nakapagpalit na to 55 or 50-series. tbh, i really don't mind if 50-series is the way to go in my case, as long as walang rubbing issues.

    salamat sir!

    Hi sir!

Any difference in comfort from original stock mags/tires?

    TIA.

Yes sir, i changed my mags na. Mga over 2months ago na rin po yata.
I must say that the difference in handling/ride is acceptable considering that i went 2 sizes bigger from my stock. I like it this way, para mas meron akong clues what goes under me. But for me, the positives outweighs the negatives. A lot more feel on the road plus porma, hehe.

IMO, 16" is just perfectly right if ever you'll go on upsizing your mags. It's the best compromise between comfort & porma sa case ko, but then aspect ratio on your tires will contribute also. Sa aking ride na '99 Civic, i went 195/50/16. I could have gone 45-series but later on changed my mind nung bibilhin ko na yung gulong, gusto ko pa rin kasing may konting kapal ng rubber between the mags & the road.

    Sir,

Thanks for the speedy reply... I'm also leaning in getting the 16" with the same tire size as yours 195/50/16. I'm using Vios '06 model. If you don't mind, where did you purchased your mags & tires (brand/model)?
I've already scouted at P. Tuazon in Cubao & Lamuan, Marikina (most of the shops here are branches of Cubao).

    Thanks!

    Papa,
eto ang makakasagot sa tanong mo:
    http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp

Just put in all the specs for the tires & mags & sasabihin sa yo ang comparison sa dimensions.

    All the best!

    Cheers!
