Finding the right tire/mags combo for my honda city 2008

What should be my tire/mags combo for my Honda City 2008? Sa tingin ko im more inclined to go with 16s (between looks and comfort) pero ano po bang tire size ang pwede? Please help po total newbie ako pagdating dito.

stock ata nya is 15 diba? kung 15, dapat naka 17s ka.
kung stock nya is 14, pwede ang 16.

17s can go well on 215/45/17
16s can go well on 205/50/16

but then again, check mo yung offset para hindi sumayad.

205/45 R16 rubber will work on a GD Jazz or City.
Mount that rubber on a 16"x6.5" or 16"x7" wheel. GDs are notorious for having rear fender rubbing; if you want to avoid this, look for wheels with +45mm offset or greater. You can get away with as low as +42mm but any lower and good luck to your rear fenders.

I ran 205/45 R16 rubber on 16x7 Rota Circuit 10s for two years; no rubbing problems whatsoever.

The only real headache with 16" rolling stock is the selection of tires. For some reason, 16" tire selection isn't as varied as 15" or 17" and it's not exactly cheap either...which is one reason why I downgraded to 15"x6.5".

If you want to max out the wheel size, 17"x7.5" wheels with 205/40 rubbers are your ticket. HTH

Ok so I initially got 17" mags with 215/45/R17 rubber. Unnoticeable ung rubbing sa rear fender until magsakay ako ng 3 adults sa likod. So ang guarantee naman sakin nung pinagbilhan ko is pag sumayad, ibalik ko. So nag papalit ako ng 205/45/R17.. ok naman until kanina sumayad ulit sa likod Nahihiya naman na ako bumalik don sa pinagbilhan ko, pwede pa kaya ako magdowngrade to 16s?

Baka masyado mababa offset ng mags mo. Kung +42 offset nyan, makakalusot pa sa 205/40/17 na alang sayad basta yung design ng gulong yung panipis(tapered) ung sidewall na halos ala nang rim guard/protector. Example nun ay yung Nankang NS II. kaso sa 205/40 sobrang tagtag na ng ride.
