195/70/14 vs 205/70/14 Tire size for Mitsubishi Adventure

Hello mga tsikoteers,

Just a newbie here. I got my Mitsubishi Adventure (model 98) 2nd hand last June. Eh the other week, sumabog yung front wheel right tire ko pag-akyat namin sa SCTEX Dinalupihan. Buti na lang okay yung spare ko nun.

I'm looking at changing my tires this week. Eto tanong ko:

May epekto ba if gawin kong 205/70/r14 yung tires ko? or should I stick with the 195/70/14? May effect ba sa handling, performance, fuel efficiency ang size ng tires?

Saka one last thing, I'm thinking of getting either Westlake or Wanli. Any feedback on these China brands?

parang malapad ata yung 205 sa 14s ah, much better sya sa 15s, imho.
westlake i think is better than wanli. but if you have extra pa, consider kumho or federals.

I did the exact same upgrade with our Revo. When the old 195/70/R14s were getting thin, I changed to 205/70/R14. Gave it a slight increase in ride height, somewhat better ride comfort, and better handling. Didn't notice any difference with the fuel consumption and performance.

Can't comment with those tire brands since we've never used them before. The Revo rides on GT Radial Classiro 205/70/R14's with 95H load/speed rating. Got them last year for around 3500 per piece.

Maybe you can check out the Taiwanese brands Nankang and Kenda. I'd prefer these over the Chinese brands. Our Accord V6 uses Nankang 215/45/R17's by the way.
