Mga pre tanong ko lang, if I'm in dagupan na and going back to manila, and it's around 10 a.m. What is the best way. Back to urdaneta or via camiling?
Thanks in advance.
somewhat equidistant yan. i suggest you try camiling via san carlos. i have been thru urdaneta / rosales lately and the roads are really bad. i don't have any information re the flood situation on the camiling route so you better ask around.
hope this map helps...

Via Camiling na lang, bro. The state of the highway in Urdaneta at present is horrible. Portions of the highway in Carmen and San Manuel, Tarlac aren't doing all too well either.
My wife actually used the Camiling route going to Tarlac at the height of the flooding in Moncada and Paniqui about a week ago caused by the last typhoon.
"PAGING MAYOR PEREZ"
musta na pangasinan mga bro. balungao namamn ako. pm nyo namn ako if may kababayan ako sa balungao
Mga bro from Pangasinan, need info badly. I am suppose to bring a balikbayan to Manaoag by next week. Need advice on what would be the best route. I plan to leave Manila by 3:30 a.m. and leave Manaoag around 10 to 10:30 a.m.
Masama pa rin ba ang mga kalye? Traffic? What about that alternate route bypassing Urdaneta? Sira rin ba ang roads doon?
What about thru Camiling? Saan ang daan ko from Manaoag? I'm really worried about road conditions kasi kaka paayos ko pa lang ng mga pang ilalim ko at baka mabinat yung bulsa ko.
So if you think its that bad, I will call it off na lang. Any info would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.
i travelled from pangasinan to manila yesterday. ok naman na ang roads. the worst parts i remembered were:
-- the terminal point of the nlex in sta ines where the road merges with the road to mabalacat and the bridge going across to magalang. rough road around 50 meters.
-- urdaneta. the stretch where the numerous potholes were has apparently been gradered over. ok naman na siya and there was no traffic at 7:30 pm.
all in all, i think you can make the trip with minimum hassle.

The good news is that the stretch of highway that DPWH was repairing in Villasis has already received a new layer of asphalt.
If you have to pass Urdaneta, suggest you turn right at Binalonan going to Manaoag instead of using the Urdaneta route as the bridges on the latter are still being repaired AFAIK.
Have you considered passing via Camiling, Tarlac so you can bypass Urdaneta?
Yes, I have considered via Camiling though I'm not familiar with the area.
Just in case, what towns would I pass from Manaoag to Camiling. Thanks again.
manaoag -> mapandan -> calasiao -> malasiqui -> bayambang -> camiling
note that the mapandan -> calasiao route actually traverses a portion of sta. barbara but does not go thru the poblacion of sta. barbara
Can you guys please recommend a reputable aircon repair shop in Pangasinan? Kailangan ko kasi ipa-general cleaning ang aircon ng Sedona at ipa-trace kung saan galing ang leak sa system. Thanks.
