    Any feedback re: Lexus LX570?

What are its direct competitors locally?

    Thanks!

Obvious equivalents in the local market: (luxury SUV class)

    -BMW X5
    -Porsche Cayanne
    -Range Rover Sport

    Its Porsche "Cayenne" not cayanne..
Let me add the Mercedes Benz GLK on the list which is being sold locally..

I'd rather get the Range Rover HSE than the Lexus LX570.

At this level, you are already taking about prestige and image.

The Lexus LX570 is too pricey.. Just buy a Land Cruiser 5.7 Liter V8 variant USDM instead sa grey market.

    Get the Range Rover.

Looks ? Super rare. :2thumsup: Great body design.

I know. The LX570 is suuperr rare too but from afar, it doesn't differ from the LC200 ... which to the fact, isn't that rare anymore.

Atleast, if you're driving a range, from afar, you'd automatically know that it is indeed a range rover.

Features bet. the LX570 and the LC200 . Now that's a different story.

Noteworthy though that Range Rover almost often scores very low in terms of reliability.

    Hi guys.

Sorry but the LX570 is a full-size Ultra-luxury suv. The locally available cayenne, range rover sport, X5, or glk are not the same level as these are small to mid-size luxury suv's.

The LX570 competes with the :

    Range Rover HSE/Supercharged
    MB GL450
    Caddi Escalade ESV

^^^ People who buy these cars don't prioritize fuel consumption.

For me, the LX570 is one overrated SUV, its nothing more than a glorified LC200

Well the new LX570 absolutely is the drop dead the best SUV for me. For what I want, the new LX570 beats the range rovers hands down. And besides between these two overpriced SUVs...... the Lexus is relatively less overpriced. One day .........

I was watching youtube videos on the new LX570 and actually saw and rode the first unit (I think its their launch unit for mid november) recently here in their showroom. What a work of art. Landcruiser toughness Lexus luxury. I admit the previous model was a bit meh but this redesigned one really rocks. Body on frame for heavy duty all road toughness and longevity. Spacious. Loaded with tech. That 12 inch center center screen is gorgeous. Have to see it in person to appreciate it. Paddle shifters. 8 speed tranny. Super luxurious interior. And that front end with those tri-led headlights looks absolutely bad a$$. 21 inch wheels add to its commanding presence. Acres of interior room and leg room and shoulder room.

Okay its heavy and the v8 drinks gas but if you buy this you can certainly afford the gas bill.

Id take this over a range rover anyday. Or a GLS or x5 or q7.
