Wow! The front looks like the old CRV... may naiba pa ba bukod sa exterior? What about the engine?

Available na ang facelifted sportage altho affected rin pala ng price increase ang sportage.

    old sportage 4x4 crdi 1.130M
    facelifted 4x2 crdi 1.130
    facelifted 4x4 crdi 1.210

    FYI

btw few remaining units na lang ang old 4x4 crdi. ang medyo meron pa ay ung 4x2 gas variant

I just visited kia near MOA earlier to look for the face lifted sportage and ang sabi sa akin ng SA dun nagprice increase na naman daw ang KIA ng 40k for their sportage starting today so sabu niya a total of 120k for two months ang increase and sa diesel variant lang yun and wala pa silang display ng sportage na facelifted. what was columbia thinking woth all the rice increase.

Hi! new bie here. Just got my facelifted bright silver Sportage 4X4 CRDi last July 1. I was not expecting to get the facelifted version nor did the SA, because when I made my downpayment, middle of June, the unit on display was still the 2005-2007 model. Maybe I was just lucky!:icecream:

Anyway, the changes I have noted are the following: (some good some bad)
    Exterior:
    1. new front bumper design, headlamps and foglamps
    2. new design tail lights

    Interior:
    1. driver side airbag
    2. all fabric seats
    3. no temperature gauge anymore
    4. glove box no lock
    5. front passenger seat not fold flat
    6. 2 DIN Clarion audio (AM-FM, Cassette, CD, MP3) with aux cable inside glove box
    7. rear cupholders at foldable rear arm rest instead of from the floor
    8. seatback hooks for grocery bags relocated near the base of the headrests
    9. one deep compartment center arm rest, too low to be resting your elbow on while driving

I didn't notice anything different from the engine compartment. Not VGT yet. According to the KIA Canada website, the rear seats were lowered a little 5 mm to add headroom. I didn't notice the change however.

Oh, another thing, the driver's seat has only one knob at the left side, for height adjustment. In the previous model, there were two.

From what Citydriver shared, the difference (nice ones) is mostly in the outside only. I wonder if its possible to get the same look...

I agree with albert b, the new front bumper do look good. But another thing that i am most happy about is the addition of a driver-side air bag. At least, meron nang isa.

    Thank you. I'll do that.

BTW, just a question I hope fellow tsikoteers can help me with. I noticed that on the inside of the front doors , there is what i suppose are door courtesy lights. But they don't work. They don't light up on opening the doors. I looked it up on the manual, no mention of door courtesy lights.
I'm wondering now if that red plastic there is just decorative. Maybe somebody from this thread can comment on this?

That's too bad ... maybe you can do a DIY and put a bulb in there. I mean if they just pulled out the bulb then I guess you can put something back in. Reflectors are nice but actual light source (bulbs) are better.

Citydriver, post some pictures naman of your new ride :-) Interior and exterior, wala pa ako time to drop by the casa eh.

Actually, I called up the SA to ask about the courtesy lights, and also to complain about a busted light at the rear license plate holder. It seems he cannot give me a definite answer re courtesy lights. So I decided to just bring the car back to the dealership tomorrow.

I'll be glad to post some pics. I will make time to shoot some tomorrow
