Is it advisable to modify a 1.5 Kia Avella?

Hi! Its my first time to post here at tsikot.com.

I have a 1.5 Kia Avella Delta. Not really sure if it's SOHC or DOHC. Some websites say it is DOHC. Anyway, plano ko kase i-modify yung IHE system nya. Advisable po ba? Will there be a significant gain in performance?

better of keeping it stock and clean. imho

performance? what do you need it for? kung for track days, ok sana. pero kung everyday use. wag na lang sir. maintain your vehicle responsibly na lang.

No. it is not advisable. first, mahirap ang parts niyan. second, modifying from stock usually brings down the price of the car, in case you decide to sell it later. third, baka mapadali ang buhay ng awto.

Thanks for the reply sir! Hindi po siya sa track gagamitin. HEHE Gusto ko lang sana malaman kung may ibubuga ba ang Kia Avella kahit papano kapag ito'y inupgrade.

Yes, I agree with your first advise sir. Wala talagang mga aftermarket performance part ang Kia Avella.
The second advise, medyo ok lang siguro ako kahit napaka mura na yung value ng Avella ko, since mababa naman talaga resale value ng Kia.
Sa third po, paano po yun sir? Plano ko kase yung intake, headers and exhaust lang sana i-modify.
