Thank you so much po mga sirs!!! actually my friend is planning to swap the kia sportage with my honda (my avatar) medyo po nagdadalawang isip po ako, super tipid kse ng oto na yan, ideal para pang work-home-work-home activity, it consumes 16km/li city-hiway driving with its 1200 engine. medyo attractive yung deal to swap kse no money involved but i dont have any idea about kias performance and everything.. Thank you very much po for the infos sana meron pang additional infos..chow!!!

    Dennis,
May I know your problem on the suspension?

    Dustin,

I have a sportage but diesel. The reason we bought it (second hand) two years ago was that we think it has good suspension and the parts look tough. My experience owning it the past two years seems to validate this. Lots of problem talaga engine and I find it annoying having to always replace parts. After 4 months of owning it, I opted for what I think is a more optimal solution, replaced the engine with a mazda diesel. So far, that gamble seems to be paying off, daily driver ko na siya ngayon. Another thing, the aircon (think Bando is the brand) is very good. Parang Calsonic, lumalaban sa init.

That's my experience owning it. HTH.

Thank you so much mga sir!!!!

i already tested the kia sportage, mukhang marami pang ipapaayos based on the condition of the vehicle, i decided to stick with my honda muna, at least sa honda ko medyo kumpleto na, wala ng iisipin pa na ipapaayos.

Thanks sa mga feedbacks at i knew/learned some details about kia (negative or positive man) kung hei fat choi!!! chow!!!

    a Mga Sirs,

tanong ko lang kung What mazda engine did you put in? well i guess you also changed transmision? would you guys have an idea as to how much the engine would cost and any average as to the amount to install it? d na kasi namin ginagait yung sportage namin sa bahay e, pang palenke nalang kasi sobrang lakas kumain ng gas. hehe parang naka expe ka narin.

hope to read your comments about my predicament mga sir. thanks in advance

They are using the mazda r2 engine, if im not mistaken. Yun yung engine ng mazda pick-up B2500 ba yun? hehe... forgot the code. The engine would cost about 25k, nag inquire ako nito noon pa. I didnt change my sportage engine, its diesel, and very matipid.

That accdg to him.
