WANTED: NEW Carb for 1.1 L KIA PRIDE CD-5

Hi guys!
Anyone know where i can get a BRAND NEW Carburator for a 1.1 L. KIA PRIDE CD-5? The casa is asking too much of course. AFTERMARKET replacements are great!

I`d rather stay away from surplus ones for reasons of reliability, especially as i`m not knowledgable about car stuff in general.

P.S. I tried the KIA PRIDE CLUB website, but i guess its down. Any KIA PRIDE CLUB members here with a contact number of the club?

Hi im bernard, i red your post about kia pride carboretor. Most trouble happen in kia pride carboretor is over feed and most of the reason is the pin of the valve that controls the fuel from overflowing is damage. And you plan to buy the so called carboretor kit but it still overflows.. i have a solvr for that problem, without buying new carbiretor or kit. And it actually work. Just post for questions. Thank you. I can really help guyz..

i just got a surplus on today. not too expensive. the whole thing cost 3,100 including the labor and the home service. the brand new ones' prices range from 18k to 24k.

so far so good. it was a nice deal. we asked the carburetor specialist to come to our house. He had with him the carb na. The deal was if it doesn't work, we don't pay for it. It also has a 1 month warranty.

We had to pay 400 for the labor and 2,700 for the carb.

We gave him some money din pala for his gas.

onga po. we called them first pero wala pa daw silang stock ng carb and the soonest they can have one is in feb pa daw.

mga sir, try new sa pulilan bulacan ..nandun ang pinkalamaki na tindahan ng spare parts ng lahat ng kalse sa kia...i plan to buy shock.. kung hindi ako nagkamali neth ung name ng tindaha, kung mag expressway kayu pulilan exit tapos tanung nalang kau san ung tindahan ng spareparts ng kia.. medu malapit nalang daw...lahat original doon walang replacement yun ang sabi... sa ngayun dito pa ako bumibili sa my apalit capalangan area ..

sir bernard pahelp naman po pano po ginawa nyo?twice ko na kasi pina-overhaul yung carb ng kia pride ko eh ganun pa din namamatay parin pag cold start kelangan pang painitin para magnormal ang idling.. napansin ko din sa sight glass ng carburetor laging full of gasoline.. sa pagkakaalam ko dapat half lang ung gasoline sa sight glass..sana po matulungan nyo ako..thanks
