Im now interested in replacing the shocks. Feeling ko due for replacement na rin sila anyway. Iba na ang ride niya. Im looking for shocks that would provide a better highway ride for my kia.
Any owners out there with experiences replacing shocks. What do you recommend for the Carnival? How much?
Any other useful/nice upgrades you can recommend?

No 5.1 surround sound just stereo sound only, pero pwede na for long trips.

Welcome aboard. Sorry, I can't recommend any upgrades. I just wanted to ask about what sort of additional sound deadening you installed in your Carnival. I have a 2002 model, and although I am comfortable with the already low noise level inside the cabin, its never a bad idea to aspire for a more quiet ride.

The additional sound deadening in the Kia was necessary to stop my A/V subwoofer and door speakers from vibrating the metal body panels creating unwanted sounds. A rubber/asphalt sheet was installed in the inside of the doors and rear hatch. And an additional layer of carpet was installed in the flooring by seatmate.
so far no vibrations yet.

July 23rd, 2003 04:11 PM #13Tama si kimps, halos lahat ng aftermarket shocks ay stiffer than OEM (wala pa kong nabalitaang claiming to be softer). This results in less unwanted wheel movements, so less wallowing, dive, and other movements which could cause discomfort.

Akala ko a lot cheaper than ranchos and OME's.
I hope it was really worth the money for those bilsteins.

August 5th, 2003 07:21 PM #19I think it should cost a little lesser then that but Bilsteins are really wortht the extra PPP if you can spare it. I do think they also last pretty long.
How about an air intake upgrade? It should give some additional HP and response with the turbo engine.

August 9th, 2003 03:42 AM #20I have a 2003 LS Sedona. Comes already with a DVD system, sunroof, seat conversion, etc. Pero ang OEM horn napakasupot so had it changed to bosch. Pero sa isang accessory shop ko na pinagawa. Wanted to change to brighter headlights sana pero baka mavoid ang warranty. Wala rin akong remote alarm. Want to add din sana, as long as ok ang warranty. 2000 model, 3 years warranty, under warranty period ka pa? So how did you do your upgrades without affecting the warranty?
