in a related thread before, i was looking for transmission control unit (tranny ECU) for kia picanto tranny.

i was able to source out a part from UK and it only cost 4,000 pesos all in all. i was wondering if this part will work fine on a left hand drive vehicle since it was originally from right hand drive picanto? it is the same physicall look including the sockets. few difference would be the mounting and some numbers from the part number. i was able to read some forums where this was tried with a toyota yaris and it worked.

anybody have any information or experience, please share. is it plug and play or need to be re programmed to casa?

note: brand new part from kia cost 36k
