Where to repair of intercooler dmax?

Mga sir ask ko lang if narerepair pa yung intercooler ng dmax (2007)ko? "nahihinanggan" o pa tig welding ba gagamitin me crack banda sa me tubo, Isuzu is asking me to shell out 44k for a brand new intercooler.

any inputs?

bakit nasira intercooler mo sir?

anyway, try mo kay Brodeth. alam ko may tig weld siya. worst case, he can fabricate a new intercooler for you. magaling si Brodeth. google mo nalang para makita mo din feedback sa kanya hehe

Sir. bigla nalang me konti leak ng oil ako napansin sa ilalim ng intercooler for no apparent reason. Baka tinamaan ng bato or something. Well anyway thank you sa info. Will call them asap...

PA OT: saan nakakabili nung mag well cover ng dmax? me isang set ba nun pang harap at likod? wala sa winterpine eh.

try calling/visiting also speedlab... baka they can do something (repair/remedy) about the intercooler.

sir, pag oil leak, try to clean your intercooler muna. galing sa turbo yung oil sa intercooler e. baka naman puno na ng oil mist yung intercooler niyo kaya may leak. try mo muna linisin.

You can take it to a radiator repair shop kung may crack. An intercooler is constructed similarly to a radiator except that it cools air instead of coolant,

Sir baka kaya pa sa hinang.dallhin mo sa aircon shop parang evaporator din naman yun materials at constrution at lower naman ung psi compare sa evap.

if you are a DIY man...lihain mo ng sand paper of grit2000 then i rubbing mo with rubbing compound then final touch is wax it...sa mga car accessories shops it would cost you around 500-1000 for the headlights cleaning..

A good aluminum aircon welder did a good job fixing my intercooler. Apparently bumigay yung factory "hinang" dun parehas sa me inlet at outlet elbow tube ng intecooler assy.. medyo nahirapan lang at sobra nipis nung intercooler cguro para mabilis ang pag cool ng air na pumapasok. I hope na tumagal . labor cost 1,5k ....

Mga boss, normal lang po ba yung may kaunting oil between tube line ng turbo at intercooler? Nabutas po kasi yung tube line(radiator hose ang itsura) ng dmax ko so noong ipinaayos ko po ang sabi ng mekaniko dapat daw po hangin lang ang nagcicirculate between turbo to intercooler. Totoo po ba yun? Ang sabi pa nya baka daw hindi na ok yung repair kit ng turbo kaya may kaunting langis na nakakasama.

If there's oil in the air intake tube after the intercooler, you may have to check your turbo. Could be the oil is coming from there, as your mechanic says.

Try cleaning everything first. Baka naman residue lang nung sira dati.

Pagnagkalangis ulit, oil seal sa turbo charger.

Oil in the intercooler came from oil mist of crancase ventilation, that is normal. Leak in the charged intake cooler and piping is not, such defect could result to wrong boost pressure resulting to poor economy and loss of power.
