apparently isuzu developed the d-max and GM brought it to america in the form of the chevy colorado/GMC canyon twin. and now GM slapped an isuzu grille on the colorado and there they are--isuzu trucks!it's a sad tale, this GM rebadging.and it's sadder in the case of isuzu USA, which is really struggling with the death of its bestseller, the rodeo and its derivative, the axiom. isuzu dealers now only have the rebadged chevy trailblazer and trailblazer ext ( isuzu ascender).
back to the trucks, i believe the d-max grille and all, looks way much better than these i280/i350 .too bad, and they think the pickups will save isuzu USA?

I really don't see anything wrong using Dmax's architecture since DMAX has been tested to be a good performing pick-up. As Isuzu being partly owned by GM, it would be good business-wise, to just use the same platform for the pick-up and increase its profitability than spending millions on developing another platform or design.

The Isuzu Ascender do not look that bad either.
