marami kasi ako nakikita, bago at wala pang plate, mausok na...pero nawawala din...
during shifting ba yun ng gears?

blame the poor quality of our local diesel fuel.....
mataas kasi sulfur content ng local diesel natin. the white smoke na maasim-asim that you see is due to sulfur... just MHO

Usually mausok sila pag umaga when u started and drive off the car... after a while nawawala naman ito.

Advise nga pala sa akin sa casa is rev high or bombahin ko daw once in a while para ilabas niya yung naipon na carbon sa catalytic. Mukhang effective naman coz when i went to subic after a few hataw nawala na yung usok... but now meron nanaman :wink:

Hay nako, mas malala pa! Hehehe. Lalo na kapag aggressive driving. Pero kung climbing steep roads na steady lang, hindi naman mausok.

Sakin naman Trooper na box type (4JB1-T engine) may white na usok during idling. di nawawala. Suspect ko, dahil walang thermostat na nakalagay. Anyone who can help? Wala rin ako mabilhan thermostat.

mikeg: check mo thread sa 4x4wire. They discussed this extensively in one thread. Maganda yan engine mo. Kung thermostat you mean di umaabot sa operating temp yung engine? Pwede rin kaso mainit dito sa atin so baka ibang bagay. May EGR ba yan sa yo? (Exhaust Gas Recirculating) System.:o

Oo, parating maganda ang mga usapan sa outdoorwire basta Trooper at Montero. Pati yung Kia Forums ok din.

Thanks for the info. EGR, meron. Dalawang valves na magkatabi sa may intake manifold. Di ko kabisado kung tama ang galaw nya. pag tinanggal ko yung vacuum hose, bumababa yung valve. siguro yun yung closed position yan. Pati pcv nilinis ko na rin, sobra daming malagkit na langis.

Bakit yung trooper namin 6 yrs na di pa rin mausok. Kung binili mo second hand, check mo yung air cleaner mo, try mo i change oil or pa check mo yung nozzle tip.
