    Crosswind uses around 5L.

We don't listen to the CASA's "use only Isuzu oil"... :P Right now we're using the Petron Trekker (15W-40, API CH-4 rated). In the next oil change we'll be putting Caltex Delo Sport semi-synth.

Mobil Delvac is ok but i'd still suggest that you continue to change your oil every 5,000km even if you're using synthetic oil. Thus if you're on a budget, sticking to mineral or semi-synth will still do very well (what matters is you follow the oil change interval).

I personally use the fully synthetic of Petron on my Patrol. I think it's 5W or 10W-30.

Personally, also, I don't believe that the 30 SAE weight is too "malabnaw". My Patrol is 11 years old, and there really is no problem.

They say that if the viscosity is too light (malabnaw) it cannot protect the engine well or something like that. With the newer formulations, I think (again, my opinion and experience only) that there is no problem regarding this.

The advantage of a lighter viscosity oil is less friction and therefore slightly more power / better fuel consumption.

The disadvantage with too light a viscosity is that if you have an older car and the o-rings/gaskets/etc are not up to snuff, the lighter oil might seep out.

I personally change every 10k (but change oil filter every 5k and then just top off). Eh, kasi, Patrol ko 9-10 liters of oil, eh. Dalawa pa nga oil filter. I also add LiquiMoly additive (1/2 liter) every oil change.

I also don't believe that you should only use Isuzu oil... they're just selling.

if you're tight on budget use mineral or semi-snthetic oil. just follow the recommended viscosity and API rating in your manual.

otherwise go for the full synthetic.

I have crosswind xt 2005 model. Thank you.

4-4.25 L lang yan. 4.5 kasi medyo lagpas na max. check oil level before starting engine. pag kaalam ko mali yung mag start engine then off then check with dipstick. oil level relative to dipstick should be without dispersed oil to pathways

nag pa change oil ako last week sa kilalang mekaniko. i use CASTROL CRB. at first i only bought a gallon which equivalents to 4 liters. nung nilagay ng mekaniko sabi nya bili pa raw ako ng 1 liter pa kasi parang kulang pa raw (he used the dip stick for basis).
di ko na magawang itanong kung bakit kailangan pa kasi nahiya ako matanda at respetado rin kasi yung mekaniko dito samin parang sino ba naman ako. but according to my ride's former owner he only uses 4 liters of oil for my XTO kaya yun lang ang naunang nabili ko.
nung kinarga na yung isang litro and test drived my ride, nung binuksan ko yung hood for inspection napansin ko may parang tapon ng mga langis sa makina parang galing sa cap ng makina kung san nilalagay yung langis. pinunasan ko yung mga tapon, thinking it was just an accidental spill when the mechanic poured oil.
after a few bumpy drives and inspecting whats under my hood again, yun ulit ang nakita ko pero after a couple of drives, sa ngayon parang kaunti na lang.
    TIA!
