97/98 Trooper gas or diesel

good am to all isuzu owners,

i'm thinking of buying a 97/98 Trooper, i've heard good reviews about it. are there any weaknesses i have to look out for? which would be better, the gas or diesel variant? my concern w/ the V6 is fuel consumption, the diesel naman i'm not quite familiar w/ the issues on maintenance and reliabilty.

Look for a 99 model you won't be sorry. In choosing whether gas or diesel is strictly based on your preference and driving style. Powerful ang V6 na trooper and has a lower price than the diesel counterpart. So kung sanay ka sa quick get away sa mga stoplight gas ka na. Kung very long drives naman and most of the time family ang kasama mo, you will appreciate the torque of a diesel.Modest but reliable. Be patient in buying, try to view as many as you can and rate them based on engine state ,mileage, condition, price and originality. Meron diyan na marumi at mukhang hindi alaga but when you clean it thoroughly and check the engine parang bago.

Alright, will keep that in mind, thanks Btw, are the 99 diesels still equipped w/ the 4J engines? From what I've read these are the more reliable and less problematic engines. Lastly, are Trooper spare prts easy to find nowadays? Thanks in advance

Basta local trooper or Bighorn na non efi injection pump na M/T. Halos similar na ang mga parts. Happy hunting and in case you have a hard time looking for a trooper PM me.

Sa Bulletin yesterday may 99 na 570 thousand yata. Very seldom magbenta ng 99 model.Most ng for sale are 2000 pataas. May 98 din but careful ka lang sa converted na face.

alright, thanks again these are the 98 models w/ the converted 99 look right? anyway, ok din namanba mga 98 models bsta hindi facelifted?

They are ok. Remember checking the ABS system and DualA/C. Some 97 or maybe 98 are not yet equipped. Be sure the unit has those two. Sayang naman kung mabili mo ay wala. Its not easy to install them and costly.
