g\best oil for isuzu turbo engines???

ano best oil for isuzu engiones specifically dmax??am currently using castrol pero alot of people are saying na may sludging effect ito.is it true ba???kaya parang gusto ko magpalit..ano din appropriate viscosity??

yup..saw it kanina...there parang a chart lang..w/ viscosity and ambient temp...am just not sure kung ano ba talaga yung specific eh..walang nakalagay..

well IMO d best is the Royal Purple .. works very well on our 05 4jx1 trooper .. mas tahimik ng konti ang engine, much smoother ride, better FC, hindi mausok and more power .. mejo pricey nga lan .. pero d' best .. im using a 5w-30 viscosity .. i had mine replaced * speedy fix ..

Try also Besco oils. These are specifically for Isuzu Troopers. The casa specifies this one but its just expensive

in my experience noon 6 liters naman ako nasingil ng casa. Nung ako na lang 4-4.5 liters na lang. hehehe you know what I mean.

Marami po talaga langis ang Engine ng Crosswind kc malaki po ung Oil pan nya, basta Isuzu malaki cla mag-design ng Oil pan pra maginhawa sa makina i think. minimum of 6 liters pwede na sa kanya but maximum is 7 hwag po lalampas dun kc ang sobra nkakasama din sa Engine. Mineral Oil or Regular Oil is good basta sa mga kilala na Brand like Shell, Petron or Castrol. But if you want Fuel efficient Fully synthetic ang gamitin mo medyo mahal nga lang. pero pwede rin 1 Liter ng Fully synthetic and the rest regular Oil na para tipid basta same brand ha. Take note mas maganda magpa-change pag matagal mo nagamit sa byahe like 2 hrs mo na gamit pra malabnaw ung langis pag drain, no need for Engine Flusher nkakasama pa yun pag minsan sa makina, just used airpressure to drain.

Hehehe. Yung kuripot kong pinsan sa promdi. Siya na lang daw ang nagchachange oil ng highlander niya. Nung first time daw niya, he based the quantity of oil sa Isuzu service receipts niya. 7 liters.

Thinking that it only consumed 6.5 liters, he bought 7 liters of oil and its respective filters.

gud day ask land is it good t use full synthetic or semi synthetic to your 4jg2 engine after total overhaul replace liner etc.piston ring re-face the top engine block coz of over heating problem, maganda ba or hindi synthetic oil or semi, i,m currently using total motor oil, thus caltex delo 400 semi synthetic good for my 4jg2? help pls. salamat

If you just overhauled your engine it would be wise to use semi-synthetic first for the first 10000km. Then completely flush your engine and use full synthetic...ganoon po ang ginawa ko sa fuego namin with 4jb1t engine.

when i bought my XUVi sa ortigas 2 weeks ago, halos walang visible na usok from the tail pipe.

nagpa change oil ako last thurs sa petron pasig, may nilagay na additive aside from the oil itself, pampadulas daw un chaka isang bote ng oil saver. after ko magpa change oil i went to the car wash and had the tail pipe cleaned with a blast of h20 & compressed air then rev ung engine para matanggal ung black residue ng tail pipe.

then kaninang umaga while pinapainit ko ung makina, upon entering the car i noticed from the sidemirror na medyo mausok ung auto. is this the effect of the oil or the cleaning of the tail pipe?

nako kaya ako i dont trust yang mga additives na yan pati yang oil ng petrol IMO.

kapag nilinisan yung tail pipe dapat mawawala yung usok dahil malinis na uli yung pipe based on my expirience ( sa trooper ).

check your air filters maybe marumi na.

sir i think ipa drain mo na yang oil mo na yan dont wag ka nang magpapalagay ng mga milagrosong addiives na yan especially kung walang backround record yung product.

try to use Royal Puple nga pala if pwede baka sakali

well as it was explained to me... if the engine is used to a non-synthetic kailangan sanayin unti-unti ang engine sa full-synthetic. As I was told mas malapot ang synthetic.
