Can someone help me understand about duplicating the remote key-fob of isuzu dmax?

Very unfortunate, I lost my remote key-fob last saturday. I still have both physical keys naman.


So I called our local isuzu dealer, this is what they explained to me. But I'm quite confused.

They explained to me that I will buy a new remote key-fob. They will program the new remote key-fob to pair with my vehicle. -good.
Then if someone found my lost remote, its good as dead, cannot link that remote to my vehicle. -good.

Then I asked them, what will happened to my original another remote key-fob? - they said might be dead also. or might be usable.. I think they are not sure what will happened.


Anyone have this experienced already? or have this knowledge about getting a new key-fob? Hope you can share it here with us. TIA
